OK,,, what is a MPA? I know I'm going to feel stupid after I hear the :confused:answer...

Hmm,, thanks. I guess I wouldn't have guesed that.
Something special about that tire? Or is it what comes stock on the Goldwing? I havn't payed attention to that. And I have not even seen my new Goldwing yet :shrug:

it's a rear tire for the Goldwing 1500, bias ply tire....some mount it in the reverse rotation, some mount it in normal rotation, lot's of debate on this....me I went reverse just because most said to....what do I know.
The stock 1800 tire will wear out very fast on a trike, 7 to 9 thousand miles....some are getting around 20 to 30 thousand miles from the MPA....
works great on a trike.....

I suspect that other brands of rear (bias cord body) tires with similar load ratings mounted in reverse will perform similarly to the Michelin product.
