I have recently foudn that I can connect the earphone output of my Verizon phone into the Aux input of my motorcycle and use the VZ Navigator function as my GPS. It works well but I would also like to use the Aux at the same time for my Ipod music input. I have heard about Kennedy connections that will do that, but I'm not sure which one, where to buy, how much they cost, and do they really work well. Does anybody have any information on those units?

Thanks,
Jim

The Kennedy AuxSwitchSet system will do what you want. It provides intelligent sharing of the single AUX input with two music devices in a prioritized fashion. Your iPod would be connected to the 'secondary' input and your phone connects to 'primary' input.

When the phone/GPS issues a command, it will switch the input to the phone and leave it there until few seconds after the phone is quiet, when it will switch back to the iPod.

The cost will depend on whether you want your iPod powered or if you will run it from the batteries only.

You can shoot me a PM or e-mail if you have any further questions.
