I am planning a trip from Chicago to Prescott Valley, Arizona in June and was curious as to what necessary essentials must be packed to ensure an enjoyable yet safe ride.

Thanks

I'm sure that everyone has their favorites. A few things I take are based on problems I've had. I'd have a tire patch (plug) kit, a compressor(12 V) and light jumper cables along with any extra tools you feel are lacking from your tool kit.

Besides the obvious things everyone else has already mentioned, I would add:

1) Laptop
2) Cell phone
3) Camera

Have a good SAFE ride!
