When I picked it up, the service manager said again that the Honda rep that was there to observe said that mine probably did not benefit any, that the stock welds looked fine, but it was done anyway. How he could tell, I haven't a clue. I'm trying hard to put the nagging worry of having a two part bike someday out of my mind, and largely succeed. I rode it to work today, along with doing some shopping, and didn't even think about it until I pulled into the driveway. All I can say to you snow birds is, neener, neener, neener! :D We don't have snow, and we get "E" ticket rides from earthquakes for free!

Duane,

You are going to be just fine. Ride that sucker hard and enjoy it. If I had a bike that I was preoccupied with whether or not it was going to crash & burn, I would dump it.

Go out there and get some more (S)miles out of it.
