My Long Distance modified wing

I thought I would share since some of you know that my better half and I ride 2 up almost 99% of the time and have been doing more and more LD riding over the last few years. We have done a lot of traveling by motorcycle over the 25 years that we have been together. Including three trips to Alaska and many more all over the western half of US and Canada.

We have two 2006 Goldwings. One is black Base model Comfort audio, and the other is a white Navi non-airbag model. We have had the black one for about 3 years now, and recently bought the white one from a friend's estate after he passed way last November. We also have gotten more and more into riding multi-day rallies. I have been modifying the black one to get it where it suits us for rallying. I spent the last 3 months setting the white one up identically for rallying too. I realize, not many people want to do 1000+ mile days for several days in row, but we enjoy getting out and seeing the country while doing rallies or just to go see somewhere.

We are headed out this weekend to do a shake down BBG 1500.
