Since my bike is still stored away (I'm on a military course until April 23rd), could someone please send me the measurement for a typical hitch ball height from the ground on the 1800? The measurement would be to the base of the ball where it mates to the bar. This would be to pull the regular Piggybacker trailer. A friend of mine has a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500, and wants to fabricate a hitch for it so he can pull the trailer. Your kindly assistance would be most appreciated!
Thanks!

Sitting on the centerstand mine measures 13" Probably 11-11 1/2" if tire is on the ground.

Do you want the hitch height when the bike is on the center stand or the side stand? Major difference if this info is being used to ensure that the trailer is level when you're riding.

Rick;
Most likely the height while on the side stand, as the Vulcan doesn't have a center stand.
Cheers!

I also have a Kaw 1500, and know that hitchdoc.com makes one to fit, if your friend wants to save the work of fabrication.
