Been running the Falken and really like it. Thinking about going to a RF next time and need some advice based upon my riding needs.

I do quite a bit of escorting bike races and do a LOT of slow turn arounds and I am concerned with the harder sidewalls of the bike wanting to stand up quick. (Have heard this from some others and don't know if this a problem or not)

I really like the way the Falken handles in the twisties as both the wife and I love the sound of pegs on asphalt.:thumbup: I don't want to give up the reactiveness of the wing with the non RF if possible with a RF.

Mileage is not as important as manuverability in the twisties and my slow turns. If you have had a Falken or non RF and gone to a RF and have had the same handling characteristics, I would really appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks to all.

Yellow Glide, just a thought. Why don't you get a spare wheel and keep it mounted up with a NRF for the escort stuff, and a RF mounted on another rim for when you and the wife go out to play in the twisties.

Nice thought, but I would need a jack to mount and remount them and don't have the room. Due to a couple of accessories, I cannot lay on it side to change. Thanks for the idea.

you will probably not even notice the difference when you are doing the tight turns, etc. and if you do, it will be minimal.

I have never run a NRF but I have a lot of miles on a RF and can speak to them. I ride a lot of twisties and I also took the Ride Like a Pro course on a Dunlop 3000. I also do some Escorting and have not had any problems out of the way the tire performs.

It says Hancock on the side!
I ain't never seen one of them before Towmoter! I run a Hankook Ventus (is that the tire you mean?) before and didn't have any problems with it, but then again I don't go more than 35mph very often!

No Rocket I guess I should have titled the pic as "you might have trouble with this run flat Dunlop 3000".

Well I guess it was just not to be seen by the rest of the World! Funny it shows up in all the quotes. But I got on the Ipad and it is a red box with a question mark and the link is just a blank page. I followed the rules I think. I uploaded the pic to my album then opened it and clicked properties copied the link then embedded the pic and used that address, this has worked in the past but you are right not today. It was a funny pic so just have a laugh anyway!

Towmotor, while I cna't put my finger on it right now the pic not showing up (I believe) is because of the way you have your albums protected. Protected as far as letting others see them or not. One of those config settings for the albums will only let people see your pics when you are logged in...dumb if ask me. Anyway, this is the way I remember it and this may be of value in the future.
