Where is the best place to get a replacement liner for my Neotec 2 helmet, washed mine several times and foam is starting to fall off. Can't stand a sweaty smelling helmet.

Center liner no longer seems to be available; cheek pads I got at Sierra Electronics.

The Neotec2 is getting a bit long in the tooth, it would seem.

I've washed a lot of crust out of mine a couple times a year, but agree, only so much that can be done.

Using a helmet liner also helps the cause.

Luck to ya!

👍👍👍

Wash the liner regularly with dishwashing soap, rinse well.

Revzilla / CycleGear also carries them to order.
I was thinking the same thing, then considering washing them one more time and buying a new helmet soonish... My Neotec 2 is 4+ years old now so do I buy the $130+ for all new pads or put that toward the cost of a new one??

Decision decisions....

I'd invest the $130 in the current lid and keep it for another 3 years. Helmet manufacturers would like to sell you a new helmet every 5 years or so. If your helmet is properly cared for (stored indoors, not dropped excessively, cleaned regularly) it should last a while. I change mine out every 7 years just because.

The Neotec 3 sure has gotten up there in price these days, 950 dollars for the basic solid colors, plus another 400 dollars for the built in headset, heck all of Shoei helmets are getting up there, GT Air 3 is 779 plus 400 for the built in headset, even the RF1400 is 679 plus 300 dollars for the headset built for it, even more for these helmets with the models with the graphics.

I just bought new check pads to extend the time with my RF1200 that still looks like new.

I've got an M9 center liner, and the cheekpads that are 35's. All in excellent shape. Sounds like that might be too small, but if you want them, happy to send them to you!

I personally don’t subscribe to a shelf life of a helmet. I feel it’s just a marketing tool to make more money. Wash the insides by hand now and then and it should last a long time. The only thing that may break down over time is the foam in the liner. The plastic and styrofoam in the helmet will last for years under normal usage.

Yea its hard to throw away a old helmet that still looks new like, but the guys testing these helmets say the Styrofoam degrades from the sweat and time, even a new helmet never worn degrades with time, but no doubt a old helmet still offers protection.
