So I have been researching these bikes for a little while now. I did a test ride a full on Goldwing recently (an F6B wasn't available) and it checked all the boxes for me smooth ride, no vibrations, comfortable seating, low seat height, etc. Don't have the need for the trunk and I understand the F6B doesn't have reverse and some other amenities and I'm OK with that.
I have a few questions though. I did sit on the F6B and felt like it was the most comfortable seat on any bike I had ever tried. But browsing through the forum here I see a lot of seat complaints. Now I know that everyone is different and no seat fits all, just wondering if only a minority of people have an issue with it.
I currently ride a Vstrom 1000 and like the air movement from the open bike. I only had a short ride on the Goldwing and am wondering if there are any vents on the F6B to direct air over you during the warmer weather.
In a perfect world I'd keep my Vee but that's not viable for me. I really like that bike and hate part with it, but I'm headed down that path of having a body that needs a more gentle ride. (having back issues, carpel tunnel so hands go numb from vibrations, etc.)
