Smaller that the Go-Pro but similar to the Contour.

Product Flashlight Light Torch Emergency light

Waterproof, WiFi with Cloud sharing, plus more.

I guess it's becoming a price challenge. Which ever is the cheapest wins?

If you are interested you can register so that when it is available you can buy. Looks like it will be available March 26, 12
Here is a quick review on it. Sounds pretty good, although I think the price point is a bit high.

At around $350 (imagine the price will drop after release) it is a bit high. I got a kill deal through Amazon of $89 for a Roam with everything the ION has but WiFi and HDMI port. For the price, it's a good unit.
Motorcycle Camera's

Personally, I will take the Drift Stealth any day: http://driftinnovation.com/hd170-stealth-camera/. B & H has them on sale with the long life battery for $189 (Save about $82): http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/751813-REG/Drift_SHD170_HD170_Stealth_Action_Camera.html. The Drift series has a small LED screen to view what you have just recorded and the remote on/ off feature is a real plus while riding. Their latest model is the Drift HD: http://driftinnovation.com/drift-hd-action-camera/.
I will admit the image quality and waterproofing (Case) is a bit better with the Go-Pro Series Camera’s. But, the Drift Camera’s price was pretty good. Best,

Just ordered one of the HD170's from B&H!!!! Thanks for that link, that was the best price I've seen, and with free shipping too.:yes1:
I want to find a camera that is HD, and works simultaneously as a web cam AND a CCTV camera that feeds a DVR. I'd like to have a live video feed while that video is also being recorded. Any ideas? I've searched the net, but haven't found "the" camera yet.

Wow!! You are certainly requesting allot. I assume you will have the cash to pay for this technologically advanced device? It is most likely going to be rather expensive and probably bulky. I will stay with the DRIFT. Best,

OK, I just received my DRIFT HD-170 this evening, and was trying it out with a couple of 30 second vids...not very impressive, so I'm thinking that there is something I'm not doing right.
First, I'm trying to play back using the USB from the camera's memory card to the computer and I didn't save the vids to my Hard drive, so I'm thinking that method is too slow for the data to transfer smoothly.
Next, I'm not sure if there is a preferred software that will play a ".MOV" file. I'm not up to date with the computer hdw and software, so I have an "old" machine to use. What are you guys using to view and edit and what are your methods to get smooth playback? Steve F

Never mind, I found out what was needed.....Quicktime Player v7.xx for the .MOV files.

Now, I have an email out to driftinnovations.com asking how the HDMI cable is supposed to get connected to the TV.......5 RCA plugs and none of them are marked, nothing in the manual telling what goes where, and the color coded plugs don't necessarialy match up with anything I have. I'm gathering reading various posts on the internet, that you have to connect the HDMI to only an HD TV
Their manual is really coming up short.
My buddy uses these camera on his ultra lite and he loves them. Even has remotes to control which camera he wants to use. Here is a link to see his videos and how they come out after editing.http://m.youtube.com/index?desktop_uri=%2F&gl=US#/watch?v=33_kkk4P-BQ
