On Sunday July 17th, 2011 at Loring Air Force Base,
in Limestone, Maine, he became the first man to exceed
300 mph riding a sit-on motorcycle with a stunning
311.94 mph run.

The video is an On Board video...

Bill would like to extend a special thanks to Ward Performance
and Motors by Knecum for giving him the potential for the 1000 horsepower
required to achieve his lifelong goal to be the first man to surpass
300 MPH on a motorcycle

He currently holds the official record at 276 something. The 311 mph is not official as he did not make the return run to back it up and average it. But truly amazing thing he has done!!!!

???????????

He’s not pulling any wool over my eyes, who’s he trying to kid????

I know it was a Goldwing under that plastic because I heard him shift into sixth gear, and look very closely how stable it is at higher speeds, but the part that puzzles me the most is, where did he put all of the 1000 horses???

I'd love to be able to do that... WOW!!!

I'd also love to do some of the big ovals as well as their road courses at Daytona, Talladega, Charlotte & Atlanta... WOW!!!

Well they say I’m crazy???

It would have been neat to see the speedometer in the video, that is, if the bike had one that would go that high.

It doesn't really count unless he has a cooler with at least three beers in it attached to his trailer hitch !!
