Hi. Has anyone noticed any throttle hesitation when first starting from a stopped position. This is new behavior (had bike 1yr, 3,000 miles). As I roll on the throttle it sort of starts, dies and then surges a bit before leveling out into a controlled/consistent acceleration. Its not horrible but it is worrying if pulling out into moving traffic. Again it has not done this until very recently. Thought it was perhaps the gasoline so filled last tank up w/ 89. No diff. Any thoughts or anyone w/ similar experience? Talking 2018 DCT Tour (Blue!)

Mine does that on occasion. It almost feels like it's going to stall but doesn't. However, now that you bring it up I don't think it has done it in quite a while. I'm pushing 7,000 miles. Maybe it just has to loosen up some and maybe the computer has a learning procedure. Both speculation on my part.

If you are a mild mannered rider, take that sporty bike out for ride and let it feel its oats. It may be carbon fouled plugs. If you are a spirited rider this probably will not help. Make sure your crankcase is not over filled as this can also foul plugs. If this does not work, get back with us, this is the simplest thing first kind of approach.

Mine only hesitates from a cold start and if I don't let it sit for a minute. Otherwise it takes off like greased lightning.

I've experienced throttle indecision since Day 1:redface:

ECON, RAIN, SPORT, TOUR. Do I feel like Jekyll or Hyde today?.... Decisions, decisions0:)

Otherwise? No problems a-tall:laugh:
