I am new here and been reading about the run flat tires.
I'm in need of new tires and think it would be a good time to go darkside (rear).
What is the best tire to put in the front if you go darkside in rear?
I live in Pa if that matters and ride year round as long as ice is off the roads.
What tire is recommended in the rear and what size?

Several brands of all season and even snow tires are good to investigate. 195 55 and 205 55 seem to be the most popular.

Happy hunting

Trucker, welcome. You can see my tire preferences in my signature. Although I check out a number of tires, my primary emphasis is performance in the turns. That is why I have those tires in my sig. I have many more tires to check out....oh, the fun.;)

You sound like you would be ideal for the Michelin Primacy HP/Bridgestone G709 combo.
