i built it. harbor freight trailer and a sears cargo top. waiting on some chrome rims. not hard to build at all.pulls great!! even at speeds up to 90(passing big trucks) steady as she goes. :biker:

Nice job. I also built one using a Sears carrier. I see you replaced the stock lid supports. What did you use... gas shocks? Did you have to modify the front hinge to allow the lid to open fully like yours?

Where are you ordering your chrome wheels from? I've seen some with spinners and they look great. But I don't know where to find them.

i used a piece of 3/4 emt. and put the ends in a vise and flatten them then drilled a hole and used the brackets that i left when i took the supports out. works very well. i am getting the chrome rims from discount tire in longview tx. they will not ship or take cards over the phone. my aunt lives there so she put a down payment and will be picking them up.(sat i hope). nice project everything turned out very well.
