Well I got the Sears Yellow jack for christmas...
I know that some were saying that theirs didnt work multiple times and they had to take them back but mine worked first time out of the box.

I really couldnt get a feel for the balance since I already had the back end up on jackstands. But even with the weight shifted towards the front It lifted VERY well. I put the back jack bar under wher the centerstand used to be, and the front bar was just foreward enough to miss the plastic tank. I jacked it up untill the ratchet clicked in the lowered it to the catch the re-pumped the jack.
All in all a great fit... This is going to be great when I have to get under this beast!!!!
