I went to the Internation Motorcycle Show this weekend here in Denver and saw a bunch of NICE bikes. I really liked the Yamaha Road Stars and VStars! My Son would like to start riding and is about my size, 6'4", 260lbs with a 34" inseam. I sat on all the other bikes and found that the VStar 1100S with the floorboards was the most comfortable. The seat wasn't as hard as the Shadows and the legs were a bit farther forward and out. The Shadow was nice but as far as Honda goes, I think I would get the VTX1300. It's a little "bulky" or heavy but the most comfortable. The VStars are more affordable than the VTXs.

All in all it was a great show. I wish they would have had more vendors selling peripheral products. Picked up some Zooke anti-fog "stuff". It works great!

We had the same problem here in Seattle. Plenty of bikes and A LOT of mid-life crises bikes. Vendors were very low compared to the m/c shows in the past. I will probably skip next years show.
