I have come across 3 old GW's this year, at gas stations. Always take time to check them out. All have been in pretty rough shape cosmetically,
but owners say they still run great. All three were box stock.

GW Cafe Racer

I'm looking forward to one day building a retro rocket GW cafe racer. If it looks as good as that one, I will have done well. (Insert contented sigh.)

I took this picture in the pit parking lot at Barber's Motorsports in Birmingham, AL at the AHRMA races.

I don't particularly care for the goth theme nor the over-dose of red but it does show potential.

back in the late '80s guys were doing the cafe thing around here, but they were replacing the rear shocks with solid struts. :shrug:
