Had a nice 3 hour ride today here in central Florida. Weather was perfect, high was only around 79. Headed south out of the Tampa area along the back roads of Highway 17 through the small towns and saw quite a few motorcycles and probably 6 wings.

Stopped for a late lunch early dinner at the Pioneer diner in Zolfo Springs and had a terrific greasy burger and fries in this little one horse town. Ran into a rider on an 87 Interstate. He had it decked out in a self painted red/white/blue scheme. Not the greatest paint job in the world but it still looked cool on that older bike that was still laying down the miles.

Made the circle back toward the west coast and got my 07 on the interstate for the first time. After riding an FJR1300 for the last two years, this is a big difference and a much smoother ride. The wing is truly the Cadillac of motorcycles.
