Did you type your message between the color on box and color off box?
First there is a bracket, then it says color equals red, end bracket, then there is another bracket, then a forward slash / that turns off the color, ended with the closing bracket. You have to type your message in between the opening of color and the closing /color.
When you pick a color, it will have a bracketed color, and then another bracket to turn off the color.
You must type your message in between those brackets, it will look something like this (color)(/color), I am using a different symbol to represent the brackets, the bracket looks like this [ and I am substituting ( this for it.
(color=red)You insert your message between the codes, it will look something like this, except I changed the symbol to something that will show up instead of the bracket.(/color)
(color=red)Type message here.(/color) Type message here.
