In your 2 previous post about your trip the guys posted some suggestions, but you didn't acknowledge that you saw them. Were these not what you were looking for? Banana Boy has posted some good info on the area in the past so you might want to search his past posts if you don't find the info that you are searching for
The Museum in Lunenberg and Peggy's Cove are a must.

GP, You can order free guides at novascotia.com . According to their web site, the 2008 edition is available as a downloadable .pdf file. The 2009 edition is shipping in March.

Happy Riding
If you are going in June you may want to take this in. http://www.atlanticade.com/

Also, don't miss Digby, home to the worlds greatest scallops. And make sure you take in a ride around the Cabot Trail. This is where Alexander Graham Bell spent much of his time at Baddeck on the Bras D'Or Lake. Bell stated that this was the most beautiful place he had ever seen in the entire world.

I see that your signature is Great Pumpkin. Make sure you have a look at this site and you may want to drop by Windsor, Nova Scotia to buy some world famous pumpkin seeds. Howard Dill held the world's record for the largest pumpkin for many years. http://www.howarddill.com/
Not All Are Listed

Just a note to let you know that the MC book does not list all of the best spots due to advertising. I found some great deals not in the book. Best to ask the locals - they are very helpful.

I have a 20 minute video of Nova Scotia from August 2008 on my website.
We too will be returning to Nova Scotia in June. Plan to be up there after Laconia Bike Week. So if you see a Dark Red and a Burnt Orange Honda loaded up, say Hi. The other couple we are travalling with have not been up there so look forward to seeing the sights with them.

We received the 2008 Doers and Dreamers book from www.NovaScotia.com and think it is very good, and FREE.

And yes, Digby Scallops are yummy for sure. We plan to take the St. Jonh to Digby ferry this time, then travel counter clockwise up to NSW.

Cape Breton has two of the best things on this planet.Very fine Single malt http://www.glenoradistillery.com/ and an extremely fantastic (rated #1 in Canada) golf course. http://www.highlandslinksgolf.com/
I live in Nova Scotia, what would you like to know? Also, with a mailing address, I can get you a free copy of the Motorcycle Guide.

Let me know what I can do and I will do my best to keep you smiling.

If you have only one week it will certainly be full but with a bit of planning you can fit a lot in.
Since you have been there before you probably know most of these:
The Cabot Trail (of course). While in that area there is also the Fortress of Louisbourg (a whole day), The Glace Bay miners museum (an actual Coal Mine).
Some very scenic towns are Lunenburg (home of the Bluenose), Shelburne etc...
Of course Halifax, the Capital has lot's of interesting sites. Citadel Hill, Historic Properties...
The Bay of Fundy has the world's largest tides. Digby is famous for scallops...
Etc., etc., ...
Check back often.
Have a great trip.
There is a motorcycle retreat/resort on the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia. http://www.ctmcretreat.com/index.htm
Is there land beyond Ontario?:eek:4:
Is there land beyond Ontario?:eek:4:
Oh sure there's land beyond Ontario. Why, there's Manitoba. And there's Saskatchewan. And Alberta. Even, uhhh, what is that place.......oh yeah, there's British Columbia too

There's also Newfoundland and Labrador. The very first white men to set foot in North America did so in in Newfoundland. That was a very long time before old Chris came to Plymouth Rock.
