I am still not comfortable with my 06' never idling evenly and always searching a up and down, up and down quite audibly when I come to a stop... It is really annoying
Any suggestions, please?

First try a ECM reboot. Unhook a battery terminal then turn on the key to discharge the memory. Then hook er up and start er up without touching the throttle. Let er idle without touching the throttle until the fans come on then you are done.

I agree with the ECM initilization, however according to the '06 Service Manual...no need to unhook the battery...here is what the manual states:

Shift the transmission into neutral and place the
motorcycle on its center stand on a level surface.
Start the engine, warm it up to the normal operating
temperature and let it idle for 90 seconds without
touching the throttle. Stop the engine and restart it.
