I bought a 2009 wheel and MT with 0 miles [triked new] and it comes with the oem air pressure sensor mounted inside the rim. I use the externally mounted Tire Guard TPSM when I run a CT.
Question #1 can I still use the Tire Guard with the oem setup in place?
#2 can the internal part of the oem sensor be removed and will the valve stem remain functional and in place, Or do I need to replace the oem valve stem with an aftermarket valve stem once I remove the internal part of the oem pressure monitor?:shrug:

2009. I have the Honda TPMS on the inside and the TireGard on the outside. Both work, so for you, the outside should work OK. The valve stem needs the sensor body to screw into.
