Took off around noon and head north on Highway 9 until I hit the border crossing in Sumas. Stopped at Bob's Burgers in Sumas for a bite to eat. Pretty good burgers. Then headed west to I-5. I was only on I-5 for a mile or so when I saw the sign for Chuckanut Drive. Well that's a no brainer. Got back on 5 in Burlington and headed home.

The roads were clear and dry, the sky was blue and the temp was perfect. 225 miles of heaven.

Going to ride the wing today. It will be the wife's first ride on a 1800. Sold the 1500 not long after we met and bought the H-D. She is in for a huge surprise!

Followed Westsides advice and Sdlyon, Islander, and myself took a ride up to the Mt. Vernon overlook and then on rte 9 north to Acme. We rode along Whatcom Lake taking Park rd. What a beautiful day !

Paul getting schooled by a little old lady about taking her parking spot.
Lets get this story right, she was trying to get your name and number, she thought you were HOT.

Another great ride (260 miles) today, thanks big 'Z'. :yes1: Paul (Islander) it was good to meet you and hope we can ride together again soon. Seems as though you know how to charm all the chicks, some competition for Wingriderz.;)

You could always call in sick tomorrow and run up Hwy 2 with us, maybe between the two of us, we could give you some pointers on picking up the ladies.

After I got done with a Zumo install this morning, my wife suggested we go for a ride. We ended up lunching in Stanwood, looked at the early tulip blooms (ho-hum) and cruised through some Whidbey back-roads before catching the ferry home.

Not many miles, but about six hours on the bike felt pretty good.

There sure were a lot of bikes out today...

I started at 6 and rode from Tacoma up to Anacortes for coffee (pretty nippy up there!), then down Whidbey to the Muckleteo ferry and back to Tacoma. As soon as I sat down to a double burger and greasy (but yummy) fries at PickQuick in Fife my buddy called and wanted me to go with him to look at an old Kwik Kamp trailer his wife found on Craigslist. They loved it and wrote the guy a check. Couldn't take it with us because the guy said he'd prefer to wait until the check cleared. Hell, I wouldn't trust anybody that hangs around with me, either! Then back to their place in South Prairie for 2 hrs of BS'n. Went home thru Orting. I would guess that every 10th vehicle was a motorcycle! My arm is still tired from all that waving!! Got back with plenty of time to wash the bike (first time since September). 360 miles and a nice day. Hope you guys all had one, too!

Kinda like opening day of fishing.
We did the No tulips to see run today and back road ( Dodge Valley Road) to LaConner and thru the city to see lots of HD's parked in town. Out across the reservation to Hope Island Inn then circled the Refinery and onto Deception Pass State Park to sit on a log. Then to Oak Harbor for Colonel Chicken dinner and back home.. 80 miles is all but a nice ride. While eating dinner saw a Black wing and a lady following on a silver wing. any body we know?? Hope the weather holds a few more days so I can make a run to Spokane....

Got to entertain our friend home from Iraq on R&R, of course he was riding his HD, going to get the Screaming Eagle works so he can keep up with us..

I saw them on my way up to the Snoqualmie Casino to donate some money. I kept telling myself to turn around and take the bike out again, but I was on a mission to win it big....I should have turned around.

glad you guys enjoyed riding in my back yard!

It would be great day for a ride today, but unfortunately I'm having a colonoscopy tomorrow, and as many of you know, the preparation requires staying very close to a toilet for a day or so.

I don't have that option on my wing yet:oops:

I was talking to a friend at work , who was schedualed to have a colonscopy in a few days...I mentioned how that the preparation was actually more unpleasant than the actual procedure....Her response was "Oh they must have a new way of doing things because all I have to do is drink these 3 bottles of Enema the night before I go in "...I told her to go home and reread the directions...It will be our little secret...

More TMI...
Don't tell your friend...
Last year when I had this done I wasn't "clean" enough,so I had to start with no food all day yesterday, then started one round of laxative at about 5:00 pm,then the "hi test" laxative early this afternoon.

It has not been a pleasant day and a half:?
