I was reading somewhere about a newer Goldwing that had the bolt recall done and the dealer had put too much oil in the bike.
I don't know where I saw it and can't find what other readers posted about it. It could have been on Facebook, there are a lot of Goldwing groups there.
I wanted to see what others thought of how much oil could be over filled before it was bad and if they recommended him to drain the extra out.
Would it be ok to leave it over filled until the next oil change? (of course depending on how much over filled it was)
How much would it be " Overfilled " before you decide to drain some out?

Harbor Freight sells an inexpensive kit that will easily suck out the excess oil via the fill hole.

The only way to know for sure is to drain the oil into a clean container (if you want to re-ues), measure 4 qts (for the 6sp) and pour back in. That's what I did.

I’ve overfilled mine. Super easy to drain some. I just loosened the drain plug. Use a socket with an extension… carefully remove the plug by spinning the extension with your hands. Drain some out then reinstall plug. It’s a lot easier than you think.
