Finished up in Oregon today and headed for Reno tomorrow. Great week of riding so far. Highway 26 through central Oregon was freaking amazing. Wide open to high desert and then the coast. We hit Portland Friday night at 530 during rush hour. Giant suck fest, I wouldn't recommend it.

The 101 along the coast has been a lot of fun. While the ocean views are great the road and terrain is where it's all at. Several national parks to ride through. Can't describe how much fun they have been to ride and can't recommend Oregon enough as a great state to ride through. I may like it more than Colorado. My 05 wing has been great other than a head light and brake light bulb. Will hit 100k on the clock on the way back to Kansas. Only a 4 hour today. All the rest have been 8 to 12 so this is a good rest day.

If you are using 95 south to I-80 and Reno, make sure there's gas!! Last year there wasn't any in Denio Jct (140/95), we barely made it to the place about 15 miles north of Winnemucca.YMMV
