We're planning a trip to Oregon in August. Is anybody familiar with these roads? Hw 227 (Tiller Lake Highway), Cascade Lakes Highway, Waldo Lake Road, and last but not least Forest Road 46. We hate gravel roads so thanks for any help in avoiding them.

Cascade Lakes Hwy is all paved. We're having a very late start on summer and some places are slow getting snow cleared. I can't imagine it wouldn't be clear by August but then again I can't imagine a year with about 3 sunny days to date either.
227 os a pretty fun road if I recall it right..
Don't know Waldo Lake road. I think any road with "Forest Road" in the title has the potential for gravel in it, sections of it if nothing else, but 46 from Detroit is all paved unless it got winter damage.
