I have two small trim pieces I'd like to get painted in the '02/'03 Silver color. Does anyone know if there is an automotive equivalent paint code to the m/c paint. I need such a small amount for these parts it seems silly to have to buy a quart or even a pint.
TIA,
Tom

To find the Paint code, Open the gas door and it's on the inside of the lid. Take the number to any automotive paint supply like PPG and get your paint. Or you can get some here http://www.color-rite.com/

Paint Code

That would be easy to do if I had a silver bike. But, I don't so I need someone to give me the paint code.
Thanks

Well... you didn't say you didn't have a silver bike.
You will have do decide which year you like because the paint is different for each year.
Here are the codes for a Honda Goldwing GL-1800
The 2002yr Stream Silver Metallic code is NH469M
The 2003yr Stream Silver Metallic-V1 code is NH469M-V1

If you go the http://www.color-rite.com/ site you can look up all the paint codes yourself as they list the factory code number.

If those trim pieces come painted on the bike it may be cheaper just to order them from Honda already painted

Thanks!

Unfortunately the trim pieces are only available in chrome and while I like chrome as much as the next guy, I am taking slightly different approach in using the silver. The pieces in question are the fairing trim pieces available from Show Chrome, Big Bike Parts and even Honda.
Your help is appreciated!
Thanks again.
