The dealer has "replaced" the faulty controls four times. An it still has the same issue.

It would be interesting to see how many regularly use the passanger heated seat. I've never used mine yet..it could have a faulty switch design and I would even know it.

Sounds like they are just swapping parts.

Did they actually identify a fault with the rotary switches?
Same problem each time?

Has the seat been off?
Pinched wire?
Disconnected harness section?

There are several pages of diagnostic procedure in SM for the heating system.

I have 6 miles of gravel to get to the pavement and the rear passenger switch will get 'sticky'. I do have to clean it yearly.

there are 2 ways to change settings:
- touch button and release, it changes settings one by one
- hold button down, should shut off (from any setting)
