The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the Pennsylvania National Guard and the Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council to take part in the Armed Forces Day Parade 2009 in Bethlehem this
Saturday, May 2, 2009.


Patriot Guard Riders Itinerary
(For Saturday and the Sunday rain date)

1215 hrs - Stage at the WAWA and Schoenersville Road at 8th Avenue (click here for map),

1230 hrs - Briefing,

1245 hrs - KSU to ride as Group to parade assembly site.

Note: We will need two volunteers who are fit to walk the approximately 1 mile length of the parade carrying
the Patriot Guard Banner ahead of the PGR group on motorcycles. Please call SRC Al Leib at
3 if you can volunteer for this duty.

If you will be coming in a cage, flag it up and show the PGR banner and logo magnets. You may be
able to join in the parade.

Armed Forces Day Parade 2009
Saturday May 2, 2009

(Rain Date Sunday May 3rd)

Will you be able to do parade on Sunday in the event of rain?

The parade will begin promptly at 2:00pm.
Patriot Guard Riders will be in Division 2 (10th in division).
PGR will need to report the parade assembly area
5th Avenue & Broad Street by 1:00 pm.

City of Bethlehem personnel will be at 6th & Broad to assist with line-up.

The parade will start at Broad Street and disband under the Hill-to-Hill Bridge.

Portable bathrooms will be located under the arch at the end of the parade.
Beverages will be available under the arch at the end of the parade.

East on Broad Street to Main Street, south on Main Street past the review stand which will be located on Main Street by the Morning Call Office. The parade will end and disband at end of Main Street under the Hill-to-Hill Bridge. Please instruct any pick up vehicles to park under the Hill-to-Hill Bridge.
