The mission done this past Sunday in Whitehall Ohio was unique in the fact that Extreme Home Edition was giving Jason Thomas and his family a new home.

Thomas was living in the New York City area when the World Trade Center was attacked on Sept. 11, 2001. He donned his uniform and rushed to the scene.

While helping search for survivors he heard the weak voice of Port Authority Police Officer William Jimeno. Jimeno and a fellow officer were two of the few victims pulled alive from the rubble.

I have a picture slide show of the event here.

Iwing,

Great slide show!
Do you have any idea when that Extreme Home makeover will be aired? I would love to see it.

Jason Thompson was in the beginning of the slide show. There were a few shots of him and the family at the new house, but are kind of hard to pick out. We pretty much left after they took him inside. It was about 5 hours of waiting until they brought them in. (Thompson's)

The show is to air in February, but no firm date yet.
