I have a pair of the PIAA 1100 or whatever they are, well they were out again so I went to check the fuse and it looked as though it had been "burned"!
The wire going to the clip the holds the fuse had major heat issues and melted the insulation around the wire...... I am baffled by this... The lights work fine when they are on with no obvious signs of a short or loose connection..

Anybody else notice this on there's?

How do you have them wired?

Separate battery feed/fuse/relay ?

Initial thoughts are you need to increase your conductor sizes etc

They have been trouble free for 4 years.... I taped it up put a new fuse in it and wrapped the whole thing in aluminum foil, to keep the water out...
