Where are the best lift positions to place the pitbull, and the spacer is it on the center stand side on the right leg as you are looking at it from the handle end of the lift. I know dumb question but I don't want to drop it.

I personally dont use the spacer and never had a problem. it suppose to be located where the right side frame touches the jack. If I remember right when putting it under bike left side of jack lift is centered on center stand bolt, hope this helps

I slide it under from the right side. Rear of the platform needs to rest about 2 inches on the folded center stand. The other side needs to almost touch the spring on the side stand. thats on an 08

I was told that the spacer is only necessary if you don’t have a belly pan. If you do have a belly pan, don’t use spacer. This came from Marty at Pitbull.
