Hi Guys

Going up to Glacier national park in a couple days and wondered if any of you had any advice on where to stay there abouts. We will be in Missoula the day we leave and plan on riding up to the park for a day. But not sure if we are going to want to find a motel somewhere up near Glacier that evening or just ride back to Missoula or somewhere else and spend the night there.

Any suggestions?

We stayed at Shelby, Mt. but there is a Lodge at East Glacier Park Village that looked very nice....we think that the Glacier Park is the best place we have ever rode to, we plan to return someday...have fun

There are some "chain" motels in Kalispell. We will be there on the 11th and 12th of August and staying at Econo Lodge and the Hampton Inn in Missoula.

Thanks for all the advice, guys! Looks like we will be spending the night in Kalispell at the Motel 6. Really did not want to ride all the way back to Missoula anyway.

Do not stay at the Glacier Inn at St. Marys on the western side. Bad! Bad! Bad! experience.

Swiftcurrent Lake Motor Inn at Many Glaciers was nice.

We also stayed at St. Marys Lodge (I think that was the name) in St. Marys. Very nice place.

Would have no problem staying at either again.

Kalispell, the Hilton Garden Inn with it's Blue Canyon restaurant..... nice place to lay your head. Good food, spirits etc... stay there a few times a year.
