Greetings everyone. Looking for some suggestions for good hotels near the Portland area where parking a truck with a trailer won't be a problem.

Also some must ride routes in the area, want to do a loop that includes the 101 but other suggestions would be appreciated.

What month were you planning on your trip. Right now we are still getting plenty of rain with some snow in the mountain passes. Can't help you on your hotel question.
The town of Astoria OR is a nice town to visit and it's the farthest town north on the OR 101 coast. Visit the Maritime Museum while you're there. http://www.astoriaoregon.com/astoria_maritime_museum.php

From Astoria you can work your way down the OR coast and stop in Tillamook at the Tillamook Cheese factory for a short tour and sample some of their fantastic ice cream. https://www.tillamook.com/
Lots of small tourist towns winding down the OR coast.

If you are into aircraft I strongly suggest a short ride inland to McMinnville to the Evergreen Aviation and Space Museum https://www.evergreenmuseum.org/
I'll try and add more as I think of them so check back. I'm sure some long time residents of the area will chime in as I'm a new transplant living in Vancouver WA

You will probably get more results if you post this in the Riders,Trips & Events section.

The beauty of mid June is it could-be be wet or dry. The good news for you is if it is dry you can ride anywhere. If it is raining in the Portland area you can ride on the east side of the Cascades where it is likely not raining.

What size truck are we talkin about?

You might want to check out renting through VRBO. You might get a house, cabin, or condo cheaper than a hotel. You might end up with a garage or a long driveway for the truck.
