Giving credit where credit is due, the new owners of NY Honda, Darren and Steve have really turned that place around. Darren is the front office guy and Steve runs the service operation. Frankly, they inherited a kinda screwed up shop and have bent over backwards fixing problems created by other people and getting the dealership back on track.

I had an "issue" which they in no way were responsible for, and when I went by there they pulled a wrench off a job to check the bike, and kept it for a half a day and had it back to me with nominal expense. They have one wrench who really impressed me with his throughness. He is a european trained, and seems to be something of a GL specialist. His name is Bonny. Another good wrench from that shop is Eddie. The service manager is Steve Holtzman and he is the one to start with for your GL.

I second that thought Frisky!

I've taken my bike there a few times this year and except for one misunderstanding on there part and which they later corrected I find they go out of there way to make the customer happy! All the upgrades done to my bike, the techs were on point and discuss with me before hand, if I approved of what they were going to do, before they even did the work, now that's service.

Frisky don't forget 'Tara' thier parts and accessories person, she does the right thing when you need parts for your bike or riding gear!

That's my two cents!

Glad to hear that they are turning it into "A Place To Go". Not enough of them here in the NE.

Good report Frisky.
