I keep it in my pocket, front cubby or trunk. Wireless and works perfect. Probably not what you want though.

 

I installed the Garmin Zumo 595LM on my left handlebar. I did this when I had to change the air filter so I had all the plastic off. I routed the wires along the other wires down under the handlebar cover, back along the frame to the battery.

Hi Jon, I’ve Max’s mount as well, but not installed it yet. Is there any vibration with the Garmin attached at all?

 

Perfect location and no vibration, I also hard wired my power cable to the bike’s accessory power harnes

I have my phone on the left handlebar with hole drilled in front of cubby compartment to run charging wire to phone.
The GPS Garmin XT2 on the right handlebar. Wired to the battery.
They both are adjusted to not be in the way of controls or the dash screen.
