Thinking of a winter project for my 2020 Tour of adding a GPS. That of course is after the dreaded air filter change and coolant flush.
I’m not fond of the dash mounted option. I think some call it a Yoda mount? I did see a few at Rockies Gold and in the excitement, didn’t take pics or ask questions.

The big question is where to mount and where to wire it? On a previous bike I used an Eastern Beaver power block that had switched and unswitched options.

I installed the Garmin Zumo 595LM on my left handlebar. I did this when I had to change the air filter so I had all the plastic off. I routed the wires along the other wires down under the handlebar cover, back along the frame to the battery.

Hi Gator
Could you show a pic of your GPS mount?
Is it Max's camera mount? And what windshield are you using?

Thanks for all you do for the Forum.

I have my phone on the left handlebar with hole drilled in front of cubby compartment to run charging wire to phone.
The GPS Garmin XT2 on the right handlebar. Wired to the battery.
They both are adjusted to not be in the way of controls or the dash screen.
Sorry no pics at this time.
