I would like to connect auxiliary lighting and need to attach to a power source. I have already used the plug-in power adaptor under the left fairing pocket for my XM radio and heated grips. Is there also a power source under the locked right fairing pocket? I see some wires but not a plug-in adaptor. What should I do to connect 55 watt halogen auxilory lighting under the front fairing? If this is not a good idea, how do I snake power wires down to the battery connection? Thanks for your help.

For that much draw I'd go right to the battery and make sure the wire had an inline fuse. How to route the wire is your choice. I generally follow any wire harness in the general vicinity, tucking the wires under the harness' keepers.
