No. This wire is to play it through the radio system. You have a power cord in the box that needs + and a -, or the cig. lighter plug.

No. But there is a connector underneath the pocket that is switched and can be used to power a GPS. I use it on my 2730. 5 amp limit, so OK for a GPS.

There's no reason to wire directly to the battery with a Zumo and negates the 'auto-on' and 'auto-off' features. It also leaves the power pins on the cradle energized all the time, increasing the possibility of corrosion-generation if the cradle gets wet.

Hooked mine up to one of Lewis's (Electrical Connections) accessory fuse panels and ground block. Works great! 8) :D

Mine is powered from the switched accessory connection on the fuse box. Cable is routed under the shield on the underside of the handlebar.
