Just found out that a co-worker: a member of GWRRA Chap A here in WA, and member of the Southern Cruisers RC, was fatally injured while riding his triked scoot while out riding with a small group this past weekend.

As far as anyone knows right now, Frenchie (Mike M.) didn't have any immediate family. But, he had friends in the local motorcycling community.

Saw him last at a breakfast and day ride about 2 weeks ago.

Keep him in your thoughts. It's sad to find out a fellow rider has gone down. Even worse (fighting back tears) when it's a really-decent person whom you know.

Apparently, those he was riding with did their best to provide on-site first aid until help could arrive, and he could be moved to a location where he could be transported by helicopter across Puget Sound to the emergency room in Seattle.

RIP, Frenchie.

Prayers for Frenchie's friends and co-workers, and especially those who will miss riding with him and those who offered assistance on scene. May they be comforted and at peace.
