Rough day. The only thing uglier than a bike laying down is finding the rider hurt beside it. thoughts and prayers for these riders
I know New Jersey has a Good Samaritan law to prevent people from being sued successfully (anyone can sue anyone else over anything at anytime....the key is to get the lawsuits dismissed)However, addressing the "People don't stop"...some have become very Leary of stopping or helping because of the GREADY people wanting to sue anyone and everyone involved....they may be bleeding to death, you help, but then a "shyster" lawyer sue the entire world and they get whacked....
I agree, folks just don't want to take the chance. I carry a small first aid kit and a cell phone and that's about it. I have came upon several crashes and have stopped to check on the riders. Luckily every thing was under control when I stopped. On a different note, riders should not be on long rides without being very familuar with their rides and trained properly for riding two up. This could go a long way in lowering our accidents.Prayers sent.....

I do carry a first aid kit ( small one) and know first aid and CPR..and most likely the Good Samaritan law would cover you....some just refuse to take the chance...and I can't blame them....
We, as a society, have brought this upon ourselves...shame that it is.
