I read comments about dealer services and good and bad experiences but not much mention of deals to be had at certain dealerships. Is this a taboo subject here? There are dealers out there offering $3000 and more off new GW's.

In June I wanted to take advantage of Honda's 0.99% promo.
Left over 2024 DCT non-tour was priced $2.5k off. The dealership, Beaverton Motorcycles, aggressively tried to sneak in $4.5k in tire warranty, maintenance package, "care" package, etc.. There were a bunch of BS add on items.

After 5 times back and forth over 2 sweltering hours, they got rid of everything leaving only the freight, setup and prep, and doc fees. Which is what I had requested upfront, btw.

$24,100 out the door, minus my trade in (which was a separate fight itself)

I would have walked out if there were another DCT bagger within day trip distance.

I feel ok about he OTD price and the 0.99%. I'll not buy from that dealer again after this buying experience.

In late June/early July, I was looking to trade in my 2018 DCT. I probably would have paid list price for a 2025 that the dealer had on the floor. One salesman passed it off to another salesman who thought it was still the first guy's sale. They both seemed busy/overwhelmed, as they sell a ton of side-by-sides and dirt bikes at that particular dealer. After a couple of weeks of emails and phone calls that went nowhere, I gave up. That bike is still on their showroom floor. I'll just keep my 2018 until I'm ready to trade in on an Indian or Harley. (Another reason being that service on a Honda is nearly impossible around here).

I'm in the same boat...hard to find someone to service my GW. I decided to get Fred's videos and that has eliminated the problem as I can do most of it myself now.

I think you got a great deal for $24100. and .99%. List is like $29700. plus freight. You got it $5600. off list price, fantastic

I bought my 2023 DCT Tour at Tousley Powersports, White Bear lake, MN, just north of St, Paul. It was the end of September and they had all Goldwings listed at $4100 off MSRP. I They had a small doc fee and set up and freight, but it was a good deal. The only thing that was weird as they took a couple hours for the paperwork and loan through Honda finance. My wife and I wandered the store until we knew it by heart. We asked several times, why the holdup, and every time we go, it should be any time now. Funny thing was I was coming back in a couple days to get the bike and I finally told them we can finish the paper work when I pick up the bike. Then all of a sudden we were in the office, signing papers and out of there in 15 minutes. We were told they had some issues with connecting with Honda finance and that is why it took so long, but part of me says they were stalling for some reason, and I don't know why. Maybe hoping we would buy more stuff.

I am happy you got a good deal there!
I won’t even walk in the door there. IMO, it is the worst motorcycle store in a 100 mile radius. Birds fly upside down over the place because there is nothing worth crapping on.
