Anyone using Chevron's Pro-Guard Fuel Injector Cleaner in the GW? I pour a bottle in the tank every 3,000 miles in my cars and was wondering if I should do the same with the bike (Pro-Guard is relatively cheap at Costco)...

My mechanic told me to use CHEVRON with TECHRON injector cleaner. I think you are talking about the same product. I also get mine from Costco, allot cheaper than buying elsewhere.

fuelish questions..

I dont run the chevron, tend towards Lucas products but I do believe that it is quite beneficial to run f/i cleaner regularly whether it be chevron, lucas or the store brands. I work in the test labs at Ford. I have seen the results from quite a few different fuel additives. Some were good, some were very good..

My brother has a number of antique BMW motorcycles that were built back when gasoline was leaded. He swears by Techron and will only put Chevron/Texaco gas in them whenever possible.
