I have a 06 wing and have read alot about suspension upgrades and i need a little help. I am a big guy and i love to ride long distances. Here is my question, money being somewhat of an problem, which one would any of you recommend. progressive ft springs and a new spring and shock for the rear, or the full blown traxxion kit, ft and back. i'm 6'5 an 325lbs and sometimes ride with luggage or a passenger. thanks and happy thanksgiving to all. P does not compare to T. I've had both. The full blown T system is far better than P springs. If money is tight, you could go with just T springs which are better than P. Cost will be somewhat higher than P. At your weight, go with the whole T system if possible. Email them at [email protected] .

Good luck.

Well, KevBru, looking at your size and what you said, I would hazard a guess the only way to go is with the full meal deal of Traxxion. You are in the larger and longer catagory, and if you add a little two up, the better suspension would be a real eye-opener. Good luck.

Like Dan, I have had the full Progressive and now have the full Traxxion Dynamics. The Progressive is an improvement (especially if you are just wanting something to "hold it up a little more" due to the weight. It does not perform nearly as well as the Traxxion. I agree with Dan, go with the Traxxion if you can. If nothing else, I suggest you go with the front springs now and add the rest as you can. Glad I'm not having Thanksgiving with you Kevin. At 6'5" there's no way I could win a fight over the best piece of turkey.

We're the same height but you have 35 pounds on me; I feel your pain. For real.
I have the Traxxion Springs up front and the complete build in back. In fact, it's back at Traxxion right now for a stiffer spring in back (no charge).
Since I also ride 2-up (95% of the time) and loaded for bear sometimes, I need that extra support. I managed to bottom the new rear spring a couple of times on vacation last month.
Max is a relentless perfectionist. I feel very lucky to be in this area and have the pleasure of watching the process on my bike. Best customer support ever; he wants criticism and feedback and actually takes it to heart and builds better products from it.
