Just exactly what are "PUSH NOTIFICATIONS"? This web site keeps asking me if I want them. Well, I sure as heck do not want to be pushed around. I do not want SPAM. My email is always WAY too crowded with messages to keep up with. So, will allowing push notifications make my life worse? Will I miss out on my lottery winnings if I decline?

Push Notifications are when you want to receive a notification when someone replies to a watched thread, quotes your message, mentions you in a message, or reacts to your message.

To disable push notifications, click on your avatar in the upper right hand corner. Select Account Settings from the drop down menu. Click on Preferences then scroll down to Push notifications to set your preferences. Under "Receive a notification when someone..., uncheck the Push check boxes.
