Assuming I have my iphone connected to ACP, do I need to have a headset on in order to have a conversation on the phone? If not, where would my voice be picked up? I could hear the person on the other end through the bike's speakers, but how would they hear me?

Apple CarPlay will not work at all without a headset with a mic connected to the bike.

Apple Car Play requires a headset connected directly to your Gold Wing via Bluetooth.

If you wish to use the phone function, your headset will require a mic.

ACP requires a headset with a mic, but the phone must be connected via the lightning cord, NOT via Bluetooth. If you connect the phone via Bluetooth only, you can do so via the headset and make calls, etc, but why do that and bypass ACP with so many more options available?
