I have 2 problems with my headlights. I dont think one has anything to do with the other. First the lights on the left side are dim compared to the right. Both high and low beams. Old school tells me its a bad ground. Any suggestions appreciated
Secound my right headlight continues to move up and down. I replaced the adjuster switch but that did not help. Im thinking new headlight or adjuster motor.
Thanks for any information. John

First problem is a dirty starter button switch, have you tried cleaning it? The second issue will need a visual inspection of the adjusting motor and mounts to see if something is loose or broken.

Ditto what techdude said, but are you judging the dimness by viewing from the front? They will appear to have different brightness because of the way they are aimed. From the factory, they are purposely aimed to the right, and that makes one look brighter than the other on the dim setting.

Thanks for the info.

Found problem with right side. Bad plug.
Not so lucky on the left. I think its the adjuster motor. striped gear or
shear pin. John:doorag:
