When riding radio plays when on speaker but loses volume when switched to intercom what would cause this.

If the intercom mute level is set too high, the wind on your mics will cause the radio level to drop out. Try changing the mute level down to 8 as a test.

That's natural on my 08. I don't have any idea if it is natural on others since this is my first wing. I run external volume at 12-14. I run internal at 20-22. I've just accepted the fact when I switch to headset speakers. I think mine is this way partly because we both wear glasses and it gets very uncomfortable with the glasses ear pieces when my helmet speakers are really pushed into our ears. So i jjust make sure that the speakers are centered over our ears and just touching the ears. Hope this helps.:grin2:
