I like the idea but would like to know what experiences someone has had with these.

OR... Are you talking about one like this?

If this is what you are looking at, I would be interested in real world experiences too. I have considered this myself.

I think you are talking about the Kury air foil

Kury sells the air foil separately; I think I got mine from HDL but you may have to call since they don't list it separately.

I have one but have not installed it yet. As I understand it, it takes two people for installation. I was unable to install it by myself and just haven't got around to a 2nd attempt.

from trike board I put miine on in parking lot with a borrowed drill.not that hard to install.
Thas is what I was talking about.

How do you and your co-rider like it. How long have you had it installed and have you had any problems?
Kuryakyn air foil

If a person were in the business of installing these, he could probably install one in 10 to 15 minutes.....took me an hour. Have only ridden 20 miles since installation in extremely strong cross wind...not a fair evaluation.
They are butt ugly

No personal experience, but I know several riders who cracked the trunk lid because they overtightened the mounting hardware.
They are butt ugly
But what do you really thing about it? :joke:
They are butt ugly and won't sell enough to keep the product in their lineup of accessories
I second Laen!! Save your money . . .
Kuryakyn sells them with a modified windshield. Wingstuff's reviews had problems with distortion in the windshield, so they were going to drop them. Nothing was said negatively about the rear foil. If it is capable of working for the passenger as advertised, it might be worth checking into.

But as Laen says... they are BUTT UGLY!
I'm inclined to agree with laen on this. I bought the Kury foil and as soon as I looked at it in the flesh as it were, I couldn't believe how ugly it looked. I am sure it probably works as advertised, but I will be selling mine onto a buddy who thinks it looks okay (he also keeps pot belly pigs for pets)...
Could y'all try using bigger letters? I can seem to find my glasses.

I don't know so much about that Laen, HDL shipped 13 Plus mine this week. I will get it tomorrow, and then make a decision or let the SO make the decision weather it was a waste or not. Is she does like it the argument is over.. Cause I don't have a say in it any more, and if she doesn't :!: it was a waste
you all know what they say about opinions... so here is mine. I bought one put it on and yes it does look funny, but under normal conditions this thing works. Under heavy cross-winds it doesn't work well at all but the wife is very pleased with its performance, so it stays on the bike.
Air foil

Agree with the but ugly, wouldnt put one on my wing no matter what it did. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder i guess
Kuryakyn air foil

Finally got to ride 60 miles with mine today along with new risers, Progressive fork springs, and Tulsa windshield. Love the new springs, windshield, the risers need a little adjustment for me, and the air foil has no benefit for this rider.....I'm guessing my wife will love it according to some others of you out there.
