I have a question about the rear brake lights on my Goldwing 1800.

The brake lights work fine when I press the rear brake foot lever, however they do not light up when I pull in the front brake lever by itself.

Could there be a separate fuse for the rear and front levers ??

Any other things to check?

Thanks for your reply on this.

The stop light is run off of fuse 18, both front and rear. You might have a bad switch on the front, I think this has occured to other board members.

Front brake switch...

It is common for the front brake lever switch to fail. I had mine replaced a month ago. It is a warranty item. Takes 2 mintutes to replace. Just tell your dealer to order one for you, I doubt they stock it.
