when you press the pedal....it goes all the way down....pump it 4 times and it gets hard....but theb slowly sinks to the bottom..

could not get the bottom valve to bleed solid fulid..top valve did bleed

It's much more complex than that... Have a look at the manual, the brakes are linked front to rear with an additional actuator cylinder on the forks.. You have to bleed in proper sequence.. It will fix your proble, just did mine last month...

Ditto what PunkinWing said. You have to follow the correct procedure to bleed the brakes. Follow the link to Fred's info and follow his procedure. Good luck. :D

If you're actually loosing fluid, get it to the dealer for the recall service on the proportioning valve.. If not, then bleeding should do it..
